Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Danantara Indonesia Investment Management Agency is set to receive additional new funds worth $10 billion, or around Rp162.28 trillion, in July 2025.

"The additional funds come from foreign banks," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya told an ANTARA journalist in Jakarta on Monday.

He stated that Danantara has achieved significant milestones, with international investment cooperation worth $7 billion with Qatar, Russia, China, and Australia.

He was unable to disclose the specific countries of origin for the foreign banks at this time.

Danantara was inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto on February 24, 2025. The investment management agency, led by Chief Executive Officer Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, oversees more than 800 state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries.

On Monday afternoon, Subianto inaugurated Wisma Danantara on the Jenderal Gatot Subroto avenue in Jakarta, designating it as the "big house" for overseeing state investments.

"The cutting of the tumpeng was carried out as a form of gratitude to mark a new chapter for Danantara as a State Investment Management Institution that currently manages assets of more than $1 billion," Wijaya noted.

After the event, the president immediately held a limited meeting with Danantara's top leadership and several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet. Wijaya also attended the meeting.

Attendees at the event also comprised Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, and Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar.

Danantara's leadership team also attended, including Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Chief Operational Officer (COO) Dony Oskaria, and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) Pandu Sjahrir.
