Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Most bankers in Indonesia are optimistic the country`s economy would grow strongly in 2013 despite global uncertainties, a survey says.

The survey by Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) Indonesia said 87 percent of respondents said the country`s economy would post a stable growth with moderate inflation in 2013.

Chairman of PW Indonesia Jusuf Wibisana said here on Tuesday most Indonesian bankers expressed optimism with signals of US economic recovery.

Around 90 percent of bankers said they could reach even exceed banking targets recorded in 2012, Jusuf said.

Around 93 percent of them said they saw signs of improvement in the country`s economy in the last three years. (*)
