According to ANTARA`s observation, the workers start their rally at Hotel Indonesia roundabout then marched to Presidential Palace, located about 2 kilometers away.
The workers are also planning to conduct rally in several government buildings namely Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration, Coordinating Ministry for People`s Welfare, Health Ministry, Finance Ministry, State-Owned Enterprises Ministry and Coordinating Ministry for the Economy.
Meanwhile Chief of Indonesian Workers Union (KSPI) Said Iqbal said among the demand from workers during this year`s May Day are increase of payment, erase outsourcing system and reject the government`s plan to issue regulation about mass organization which according to the workers can limit their freedom of speech.
