6.2-magnitude quake hits Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia

Beijing (ANTARA News/Xinhua-OANA) - A 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted the sea area off the east coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia at 2:44 a.m. Monday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was at 52.3 degrees north latitude and 160.1 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.(*)
