She arrived at around 1:30 p.m. wearing a black Muslim headscarf, a purple batik tunic, and black trousers.
Upon arrival, she made no comment but flashed a smile at newsmen who had been anticipating her appearance before immediately entering the building.
The politician from the Golkar Party, one of the country`s largest parties, has been accused of having a vested interest in the victory of her party`s candidate in the election of the Lebak district head in her province.
Golkar`s candidate Amir Hamzah, pairing with Kasmin, had filed a lawsuit with the Constitutional Court over the results of the vote that favored his rival, Iti Octavia Jayabaya, who had been running with Ade Sumardi.
The panel of judges led by Chief Justice Akil Mochtar on Oct. 1 ruled that the vote must be repeated.
Akil Mochtar was recently named a suspect by the KPK in connection with an alleged bribery case linked to the election in Lebak.
Atut, meanwhile, has been banned by the KPK from traveling abroad until the case is resolved.
Several of Atut`s family members are known to hold a public office in the province as well as at the national level.
Her younger brother, Tubagus Chaery Wardana, has also been named a suspect in connection with the alleged bribery case involving Akil Mochtar and the election in Lebak.
