"People should visit the polling stations on April 9, 2014 to cast their votes. You should not abstain from voting (Golput)," the Golkar general chairman said, when campaigning at Yogyakartas Degung Square here on Saturday.
He explained that by exercising their right to vote, the people would decide the fate of the Indonesian nation. So, it is important for the people to make their choices.
ARB said, further, that Golkar was a professional political party with tens of years of experience leading Indonesia.
After his speech, Aburizal introduced his wife, Tatty Bakri, and three children and their spouses.
In the current campaign, Golkar assigned Siti Hardijanti Soeharto to be its campaigner, along with Rizal Mallarangeng as the campaign guide.
