"The name of the vice presidential candidate is already in Prabowos hands. It will be announced tomorrow," Romahurmuziy said here on Sunday.
He said that Prabowo decided his running mate after a meeting with the coalition forum which grouped PPP, the National Mandate Party (PAN) and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).
"The vice presidential candidate is a well known figure and is very experienced in managing the government," Rohmahurmuziy said.
As it was widely reported that Hatta Rajasa was the strongest candidate to become Prabowos running mate. He has the experience as a minister since the government of Megawati Soekarnoputri in 2001.
Hatta has been a minister of research and technology, transportation, state secretary and chief economic minister.
