Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Indonesian National Drug Agency (BNN) has arrested a drug suspect wanted by the law in seven countries.

WCP was arrested on Monday together with nine other suspects including five foreigners and four Indonesians in a raid in West Jakarta.

WCP (40) is a big drug dealer wanted by the law in Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, China, Macao Myanmar and Indonesia, a BNN deputy chief Police Brig. Gen. Dedi Fauzi said here on Monday.

The group are members of a syndicate known to be a big smuggler of methamphetamine in southeast Asia, he said.

"This is the biggest catch in southeast Asia," he added.

Police confiscated 800 kilograms of the drug in a box car in the raid at Jalan Jalan Satu Maret, Pegadungan, sub-district of Kalideres, West Jakarta.(*)
