Semarang, Central Java (ANTARA News) - The body of Tran Thi Bich Hanh (37), a drug convict from Vietnam executed at midnight on Saturday in Boyolali, Central Java, was immediately cremated at Semarangs Kedungmundu crematorium early Sunday morning, according to police.

Central Java police chief Insp.Gen. Nur Ali said Tran Thi Bich Hanh was executed almost at the same time with five other drug convicts on Nusakambangan island in Cilacap district, Central Java, early on Sunday at 00.40 local time.

After the execution the body the drug convict from Vietnam was sent to Semarang for cremation in accordance with the deceaseds last request.

Besides Tran Thi Bich Hanh, five other convicts executed on Nusakambangan island were Marco Archer Cordosa (53) of Brazil, Dutch Ang Kiem Soei alias Tommy Wijaya (62), Rani Andriani alias Melisa Aprilia (38) of Indonesia, Namaona Denis, and Daniel Enemuo (38) of Malawi.

Four ambulances rolled out of the ship of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, the Pengayoman IV, that carried the cars with the bodies from the island upon arrival at the quay of Wijayapura in Cilacap.

The cars immediately left the quay with police guards.

The bodies of Ang Kim Soei and Marco Archer Cardoso Mareira were to be cremated in Kalibagor, regency of Banyumas, Central Java and that of Namaona Denis was brought to Jakarta. The ambulance that carried the body of Melisa Aprilia proceeded to Ciranjang, Cianjur, West Java, where she asked to be buried near the grave of her mother.

The ashes of the body of Ang Kim Soei was to be sent to Malaysia and those of Marco Acher Cardoso Mareira is to be sent to Brazil.
