Police have seized a home-assembled firearm, a magazine, tens of bullets, an ISIS flag, and a number of motorcycles.Palu, C Sulawesi (ANTARA News) - Anti-terror police squad Densus-88s personnel arrested two suspected terrorists in Poso District, Central Sulawesi, on Sunday.
Chief of Poso Police Precinct Sr. Comr. Ronny Suseno confirmed here on Monday the arrest of two suspected terrorists and added that police also confiscated a number of evidences.
According to him, the two suspects have been identified by their initials as Is and Rm. While Is belongs to Masamba village, Rm is a resident of Kasiguncu village.
The two suspects, who are believed to be the members of the Santoso terror network, were arrested from their respective houses.

Police suspect that Is knows how to assemble homemade firearms and that he has dispatched such firearms to Santoso groups followers hiding in forests.
Rm had previously been nabbed by a joint team and had been under intensive investigation for his alleged involvement in terrorism activities.
Earlier, on March 4, anti-terror police personnel at the Indonesian Police Headquarters arrested four Poso residents suspected of involving with armed group networks in the region.
The four arrested were Ar, Ml, AH, and MH. Police also searched the houses of the suspects and seized a number of evidences.
Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) called on the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) and the National Police (Polri) to prioritize prevention of terrorism.
"To deal with terrorism, we must first take preventive measures instead of prioritizing ways to handle terror strikes," Jokowi emphasized while speaking with the press after issuing directives during a leadership meeting of the TNI and Polri last Tuesday.
Preventive efforts should be backed by field study data and information gathered by intelligence agencies, he noted.
Terrorism remained a threat not only to Indonesia but also to other countries, he pointed out, adding that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) posed an eminent threat.
Jokowi also emphasized that security and stability were crucial for achieving economic growth and infrastructure development targets.
Deputy National Police Chief Commissioner General Badrodin Haiti stated that the TNI-Polri leadership meeting was strategic for implementing nine priority agenda outlined in the National Mid-Term Development Plan 2015-2019.
According to Haiti, a joint basic education agreement was inked between the TNI and Polri during the meeting.
The theme of the leadership meeting was "A Synergy between TNI and Polri as Mental Revolution Drivers."
The meeting was attended by 246 high-ranking officers of the TNI and Polri.(*)
