During a breakfast meeting with senior newsmen from several electronic and print media here on Tuesday morning, the minister pointed out that the two other documents will be the Bandung Message and the Asian-African New Strategic Partnership.
She remarked that the representatives of the KAA participating countries have begun discussions in New York related to the 60th commemoration of KAA and the 10-year New Strategic Partnership.
"We want to strengthen the South-South Cooperation in order to be able to contribute to peace and prosperity of the world," stated the first woman foreign affairs minister in the history of Indonesia.
According to Marsudi, a series of high-level official, ministerial, and leadership meetings, among other things, will be held on the sidelines of the 60th commemoration of KAA on April 19-24, 2015, in Jakarta and Bandung.
On April 24, all heads of states/governments and delegations will participate in the anniversary and will attend the Asian-African Business Forum in Jakarta on April 21-22.
Indonesias founding father Soekarno initiated the first Asian-African Conference in 1955, or a decade after the country gained its independence in 1945.
The first conference in 1955 resulted in Dasa Sila Bandung, or 10 points of the Bandung Declaration in which most of the United Nations principles were incorporated in promoting world peace and international cooperation.(*)
