Hong Kong (ANTARA News) - As many as 28 Indonesian fashion brands are showcasing their creations at the 22nd Hong Kong Fashion Week being held on July 6 to 9, 2015.

"I have been participating in several fashion exhibitions in Hong Kong. It is interesting. There are always new things, and we have got to showcase better work," Bali designer Ali Charisma, who is displaying his best collection that includes night dresses, wedding dresses, cocktail dresses, and evening dresses, stated here on Tuesday.

Besides Charisma, Bandung Lazuli Saraes brand owned by Ivan Kurniawan is also showcasing its new collection with a traveling theme based on the Batik Denim concept. Ivan is expecting a positive response during his first exhibition.

The same views were also echoed by Andhika Lukas who is displaying his ready-to-wear collection.

"It is my first experience, and it is a positive thing for me to keep my creations innovative and continue to promote them abroad," the winner of Indonesia Fashion Design 2015 stated.

"Pla" is another local brand participating in the event, with accessories such as shoes or reticules that partially have snake skin motifs in an array of colors.

"I have been participating in Hong Kong Fashion Weeks. The enthusiasts response is quite good, and we hope it would be better this year," Pla brands owner, Melisa Soesanto, affirmed.

Moreover, other local brands such as Rhea Cempaka, Anyar Kebaya, Angela Chung from Semarang, Bateeq, Ali Abubakar Pae, and Yoon are exhibiting their collection of contemporary ethnic wear.

The Hong Kong Fashion Week is showcasing spring-summer clothing and is being participated by designers and entrepreneurs from Thailand, China, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Australia, and Japan.
