The Indonesian Air Force mobilized troops and equipments to assist search and rescue operation as well as evacuation of the people affected by the 6.2-magnitude earthquake that hit Majene, West Sulawesi Province, on early Friday (January 15, 2021). The Majene District Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) reported that the quake victims are in dire need of foodstuffs, blankets, mats, tents, medical services, means of communication and masks.
