The most important thing he would do is increase security in Indonesia especially at foreign missions in connection with the incident in Paris, national police chief, General Badrodin Haiti said here Saturday.

The police would also increase monitoring of any movement from terrorist networks detected in the country so far, he said.
The police would study for the possibility of a connection between the incident in Paris and terrorist networks in Indonesia, General Badrodin Haiti said.
"We are still coordinating to see if it has any connection with terrorist networks in Indonesia," he said in Cikeas, Bogor.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo condemned the acts of terrorism that occurred in Paris saying, they are intolerable.
"I express deep condolences to the victims of the violent acts in Paris, as well as to the government and people of France," he said at a press conference here Saturday minutes before leaving for a meeting of Group 20 countries (G20) in Antalya, Turkey.
Whatever the reasons, acts of terrorism in any form are intolerable, he said.
"The Indonesian government and people strongly condemn the violence and cruelty that have happened," he said.
In view of the incident the Indonesian government called on all parties to strengthen international cooperation to deal with the problem.
