"The oil production dropped due to disruption in activities at the Cepu Block, which delayed the big program of the block by several months," Wiratmadja Puja, the director general, stated here on Wednesday.
Puja noted that in 2016, the government has set a production target of 830 thousand barrels, and he was optimistic that it would be achieved since all major oil drilling projects in the Cepu Block were ready.
"We hope the production target would be met as all projects in the Cepu Block are ready for production, and the exploration is now ongoing," he added.(*)
