"Setya Novanto is scheduled to show up on Wednesday at 09.00 a.m.," Fadhil Jumhana, investigation director at the office of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, said here on Tuesday.
He said the Attorney Generals Office served the summons last week and is awaiting if Setya Novantos shows up as required on his own.
"We are waiting for him as per the schedule we have set," he said.
He said if Setya Novanto does not show up again on Wednesday, the Attorney Generals Office will hold a meeting to discuss the matter.
Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes Arminsyah will chair the meeting, he said.
"As a member of the team, we served the summons (on Setya Novanto) in accordance with the penal code. As for how many times such summons will be served, it is an issue that we will evaluate," he said.
As a good citizen, Setya Novanto must meet the summons, he said.
"We use good ways. As upholders of law, we must use good ways," he said. (*)
