"Many (countries) have communicated with us. Today, Britain frankly told us they were ready to help Indonesia either as consultant or contractor," spokesman of Youth and Sports affairs Ministry Gatot S Dewa Broto said here Monday.
Britains seriousness to help Indonesia was expressed in a gathering at the British Embassy premises which was attended by representatives of Youth and Sports affairs Ministry, the Public Works Ministry, Jakarta and South Sumatra provincial governments and related parties with regard to the Asian Games.
Despite the British Embassys offer to help Indonesia, the government will retain its professional attitude or stick to the existing regulation.
"We are open. Everything must go through a tender," Dewa Broto added.(*)
