Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A French woman traveling on a car with her driver was killed in a traffic accident on the Cawang Toll road at 4 am local time on Tuesday, according to traffic police spokesman Commissioner Eko Setio.

"The French woman identified as Degoulange Francine Joelle (38) was killed and her driver was injured when their Avanza car hit a truck from behind," Eko Setio remarked here on Tuesday.

He said the police had evacuated the body o Joelle and the injured driver to Atmajaya hospital in Jakarta.

Setio said the driver of the ill-fated Avanza car was probably dozing off when the collision occurred.(*)
