"You have to be able to become pioneers of bureaucratic reforms in government institutions where you will be assigned," President Jokowi affirmed while inaugurating 2,143 graduates of IPDN at its Jatinangor campus, Sumedang, West Java, Monday.
They are expected to give swift, responsive, and quality public services.
The head of state hoped that the graduates will be in the forefront to implement mental revolution and to ensure good governance.
"You should also become role models for the public, promote optimism, be innovative, dare to make breakthroughs, and be useful to the public," he added.
The president also reminded them of the heavier and complicated challenges that lay ahead.
During the inauguration, Jokowi also dedicated a statue of Indonesias first president Soekarno, who was the founder of the Interior Administration Academy, in the frontyard of the Jatinangor campus.
