Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) discussed with a number of his ministers issues to be brought to the G20 summit conference to be held next week in Hangzhou, in the Chinese province of Zhejiang.

The ministers taking part in the discussion included Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, Coordinating Minister for Law, Security and Political Affairs Wirant, Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Natural Resources Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita.

The president, who will arrive in Hangzhou on Sept. 2 morning, would have a number of no less important agenda in China other than attending the G20 summit meeting, Retno said after the discussion.

She said the Indonesian President would have his first bilateral meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sept 2 ahead of the G20 summit.

The two heads of state would discuss not only economic issue but also other regional and international issues as China has become one of Indonesias important partners.

On Sept 3 Jokowi would address a business forum expected to be attended by 600-700 Chinese business leaders and a luncheon meeting with leaders of selected Chinese state companies.

After that the president will meet Indonesian community in China as he normally does when he visited a foreign country, Retno said.

"In Sept 4-5, the president would spend his whole time in the G20 summit," she said.

The summit meeting will last in five sessions and Jokowi will deliver his speech in the second session.

His speech in non economic material will focus on the war against terrorism.

The Group of 20 countries represents two third of the world population and 85 percent of the worlds gross domestic product and dominates 75 percent of the world trade.

Indonesia, the worlds 16th largest economy, joined the group in 2009 and has been active in taking part in the annual forum.
