The panel of judges led by Kisworo said Kumolo had been convincingly and legitimately proven guilty of planning a premeditated murder of Wayan Mirna Salihin.
Wayan Mirna Salihin died on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Kafe Olivier, Grand Indonesia, Jakarta.
The case has received much public attention and has been covered much.
She died after drinking a Vietnamese iced coffee ordered by her friend, Jessica Kumolo Wongso.
"This ruling is not based on law and rings the bell of death on justice. We would appeal the ruling," Kumolos lawyer Otto Hasibuan said after the judges read out the verdict.
After the verdict was read out, Kumolo immediately talked with her lawyer.
"I do not accept the ruling because it is not just and impartial," she said.(*)
