The award was bestowed at the 2018 Annual Press Conference of the Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Nusantara Room of the Ministry`s building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
The 2018 Adam Malik Awards were given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in six categories: Best Print Media, Best Radio, Best Online Media, Best Television, Best Print Media Journalist, and Best Online Media Journalist.
Kompas won the Adam Malik Award in the Best Print Media category, while Elshinta was bestowed the award in the Best Radio category.
Metro TV won the award in the Best Television category, while detik.com bagged the award in the Best Online Media category.
The Award for Best Print Media Journalist went to Kompas reporter B. Jossie Susilo Hardianto.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs bestowed the Adam Malik Award on media corporations and personnel believed to be the best in highlighting issues on foreign policy and Indonesian diplomacy.
