President Jokowi was accompanied by State Secretary Minister Pratikno, Head of the Creative Economy Agency Triawan Munaf, and Special Staff Coordinator of the President Teten Masduki.
Meanwhile, humanists and artists who attended the meeting were Butet Kertaradjasa, Mohammad Sobary, Radhar Panca Dahana, Putu Wijaya, and Dewi Wijaya.
In addition, Olga Lidya, Olivia Zalianty, Ahmad Tohari, Tatang Ramadhan, Nasirun, and Suhadi Senjaya met the head of state.
President Jokowi greeted the humanists and artists in the veranda of the Merdeka Palace and thereafter continued the discussion under a large tree in the backyard of the palace.
Several humanists, such as Putu Wijaya and Mohammad Sobary, expressed their opinions during the discussion.
Sobary believes that the government has strengthened the foundation of the state ideology of Pancasila and the mental revolution.
"The head of state has ordered to reinforce the values of Pancasila through the establishment of a new institution specifically tasked with counteracting other ideologies," he noted.
If mental revolution is brought about at the grassroots level, then it will be the answer to the public`s demands.
Sobary also drew attention to Jokowi`s different style of political communication with others.
"This type of political communication is different, and it is effective to be carried out in society," he stated.
