Jakarta (ANTARA News)- The Jakarta administration has planned to build 10 new parks this year.

"This year, we plan to build 10 new parks in Jakarta. The new parks will be developed across the capital city," Djafar Muchlisin, head of the forestry office of the Jakarta administration, said here, recently.

The capital city has allocated Rp27 billion in funds for the park development.

"At the same time, we will also renovate the existing 11 parks. We have allocated budget amounting Rp27 billion," he said,

The new parks will be built respectively in Assakinah (Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta), Gunung Balong (Cilandak, South Jakarta), Kampung Jati (Rambutan, East Jakarta), Kendal (Cilincing, North Jakarta), Lapangan Tembak (East Jakarta), Madrasah Bawah (Bintaro, South Jakarta), Penggilingan Baru (Dukuh, East Jakarta), Swakarsa (Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta), SMU 99 (Cibubur, East Jakarta), and Kampung Baru (Kembangan, West Jakarta).
