"The task of maintaining security does not fall to the TNI and the National Police (Polri) only, but to all including the community," said Tjahjanto during a Ramadan Safari with the TNI-POLRI family and the community in Bandarlampung.
He said all sections were obliged to make the Games a success, including ensuring the safety and comfort of the participants.
The Games had a positive impact on other sectors such as tourism, services, trade, and hotels. It would provide economic value for business actors and local communities, he said.
The Ramadan Safari, organised by TNI-POLRI and the Lampung community at the Military Resort 043 / Gatam Headquarters, was also attended by the National Police Chief, Tito Karnavian, the Commander of the Military Regional Command II / Sriwijaya, Maj. Gen. Anto Mukti Putranto, and the Chairman of MUI, Ma`ruf Amin.
