The single goal was scored by Witan Sulaeman in the 29th minute through a counterattack.
In the first half, Indonesian players did more quick attacks to the Laotian team like in the 4th minute, when Firza Andika`s kick was still far above the crossbar which was kept by Venomongsot Kitom.
Meanwhile, in the 62nd minute, Laos got a free kick. However, the free kick taken by Xayasith was still far above Muhammad Riyadi`s goal and the score still remained 1-0.
Indonesian team coach Indra Sjafri expressed a satisfaction over the game, although there are several opportunities that cannot be completed maximally.
Apart from that, the Philippines squad beat Singapore 2-1 in the match which was organized at the Gelora Joko Samudro, Gresik District on Sunday afternoon.
The two goals were scored by its captain namely Fidel Victor Palogan Tacardon in 19th and 94th minutes, while a goal for Singapore team was made by Muhammad Syahadat Masnawi in 78th minute.
