The minister has delivered humanitarian aids and held a dialogue with the evacuees of Mt. Agung eruption.
"In general, the evacuees have expressed gratitude for the government`s aid and concern," Eko said.
The minister has asked for additional blankets and mattresses to help the evacuees, especially children and elderly, to survive from low temperature during night.
Eko has also called on paramedics to help an evacuee who suffered kidney failure and has to undergo hemodialysis.
"I have contacted the Health Minister and she has asked Sanglah Hospital to give priority to the patient," he said.
The minister has called on local administration to make a list of evacuees who want to join a free training on hydroponic and sewing, to spend their time in the shelter.
"I have asked head of the Transmigration Training Unit in Bali to give the training, to spend their free time in the evacuation camp. The training would cover hydroponic farming, sewing, English course, and others," he added.
Currently, as many as 3,200 evacuees of Mt Agung eruption were sheltered in 29 camps in six subdistricts in Karangasem, Bali.
Bali`s Mount Agung erupted again at 6.19am local time on Monday (July 2), spewing a 2,000m-high ash column and thick smoke into the sky.
The eruption lasted three minutes and 47 seconds, said the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB). However it did not cause the volcanic ash to spread.
Mount Agung, the tallest mountain on the resort island of Bali, has shown increasing volcanic activity since June 27.
