Al Khadziq, a candidate for district head of the Temanggung district of Central Java, was detained as he is believed to know part of the corruption case, KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said here on Saturday night.
Including Al Khadziq and his wife Eni , KPK holds 13 people in detention since Friday.
"Among the 13 held in detention, only two have been officially named suspects with sufficient evidence. The other 11 are held in detention in the process of investigations as they are believed to know part of the case," Febri said.
The two already named suspects are Eni and Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo (JBK), a shareholder of Blackgold Natural Resources Limited, who was charged with bribing ENI.
Al Khadziq and two staffs of Eni were the last group detained by KPK on Saturday. They were picked up from Eni`s house in the Larangan area of Tangerang.
Eni and Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo (JBK) were officially named suspects after 24 hours of grilling.
Deputy chairwoman of KPK Basaria Panjaitan said KPK had found indication whether the bribe money received by Eni was related to her husband candidacy in the process of regional election last month.
"Investigations have not gone that far. Today, we are focusing on the process of bribery that took place yesterday," Basaria said.
In the caught-red handed operation on Friday, KPK confiscated a number of types of evidence including Rp500 million in cash and receipt of the money.
The Rp500 million fund was believed to be part of a "commitment fee" of 2.5 percent of the power plant project value to be given to Eni and accomplices.
"It was believed to be the fourth part of the commitment fee of at least Rp4.8 billion from JBK for Eni including Rp2 billion given in December, 2017, Rp2 billion in March 2018, Rp300 million on 8 June , 2018," Basaria said.
Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo was believed to have given the money to Eni via her staffs and family members, she added.
"It is believed that Eni`s role was to facilitate the process of signing cooperation on the construction of PLTU Riau-1," Basaria said.
Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo and Eni Maulani Saragih will stay in detention for at least 20 days for investigation.
