Presidential Secretariat Deputy Protocol, Press, and Media Bey Machmudin remarked that Jokowi and Kalla arrived at the hospital in separate cars at 9:45 a.m. Western Indonesia Standard Time.
The president and vice president had attended the Prasetya Perwira inauguration ceremony of Military and Police cadets to become officers at the Merdeka Palace.
Sixth President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has been in the Gatot Subroto Hospital since July 17, 2018, after returning from a visit to Pacitan and Yogyakarta.
