Febri Toga, the airport`s senior branch manager for communication and legal affairs, noted in a release here on Wednesday that the futuristic facility called "Space Ship" will be the first of its kind in the country`s airport.
"This will make Soekarno-Hatta the first to have such a modern capsule hotel," he noted.
The hotel, located on the first floor of the arrival area of Terminal 3 Ultimate, is complete with modern facilities, including access card, cable television, quality beds, pillows and blankets, and USB power chargers.
"The facilities are complete, with more than 50 Cable TV channels, free Wi-Fi, USB, bathrooms with cold and hot water, lockers for keeping baggage, bath items, including soap, shampoo, towels, and slippers, as well as a bottle of water," he noted.
"Two types of room offered are named Alpha and Beta. Alpha offers a 22-inch television set, with a mini portable table, and Beta provides a 32-inch television set, with no mini portable table," he added.
Toga said the two types of room cost Rp375 thousand per night and Rp250 thousand per six hours, adding that the capsule is able to accommodate only one individual or one with an under five-year-old child.
"This futuristic hotel offers one of the best choices (for passengers waiting for the next flight)," he added.
