Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Presidential and vice presidential hopefuls Prabowo Subianto and Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno underwent a medical checkup for seven hours at the Central Army Hospital (RSPAD) in Central Jakarta on Monday.

"I have just undergone a medical checkup. I and my running mate would like to extend our highest appreciation to the medical team, comprising doctors from IDI (the Indonesian Medical Association) and RSPAD," Subianto said on Monday night.

He stated that all the doctors who checked his health were specialists.

He also expressed gratitude to the nurses assisting the doctors in the checkup.

"I thank you all for the professional and exceptional services. They have performed their duties well," he remarked.

He was sure that Uno would pass the medical exam.

The doctors checked Subianto's height and weight and advised him to reduce his weight by five kilograms.

On the occasion, Uno also expressed gratitude to the doctors and 50 professors for performing the health checkup.

"Major General Terawan has given me world-class services. I would like to appreciate him," he revealed.

Both Subianto and Uno received certificates after having done their medical checkup from IDI chief Ilham Oetama Marsis and RSPAD head Major General Terawan Agus Putranto, respectively.
