In the the individual round matches will also compete for two silver medals and two bronze medals.
Indonesian female athletes in the floret class are Aini Nurul and Ananda Mery, while the sabel class for men are Eko Hendri Budianto and Indra Agus Setiawan.
In this individual round match, Indonesian athletes will face a number of athletes, including from Korea, Hong Kong, China and Japan.
Indonesian Fencing team coach Hendra Faradilah remarked that
the national team was ready to face athletes from a number of countries.
"All Indonesian athletes are fully trained to face their opponents at this four-year sporting event," Faradilah said.
Asked about the stamina of the Indonesian athletes, he said that physically and mentally they were ready to compete, because they have been forged in the national training center team.
"In addition to focusing on the training, we have conducted trials in other countries before the match this time. This is in an effort to stabilize their mental and physical condition," he said.
