Jakarta (ANTARA News) - After defeating Kyrgyzstan 3-1 in the Group A Indoor Tennis match at Senayan Bung Karno Stadium here on Monday, the Saudi Arabia men`s team is now ready to take on Indonesia.

"Indonesia is the favorite team in the group and have the advantage of playing at home, but we are preparing ourselves and trying to achieve the best results," said Saudi Arabia coach Zharko Ristoski at a press conference after the match.

Zharko acknowledged that Indonesia was a strong team, so what was left to be done was to reform and evaluate the Saudi Arabian squad.

"We will prepare ourselves to play well, because being the favorites doesn`t mean that Indonesia can win easily," said the coach of Macedonian origin.

Ristoski said he was also optimistic that his team would improve and advance to the final round.

Regarding the victory over Kyrgyzstan, Ristoski said that this was possible because his "foster children" had carried out his instructions well.

"We are quite satisfied, because the players played according to the instructions and the `game plan`," he said.

Previously, the Saudi Arabia men`s team conquered Kyrgyzstan 3-1 (25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 25-17) in a match that lasted 96 minutes.

According to the plan, Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan will return to compete against Indonesia on Wednesday and Friday.

Group A has only three teams: hosts Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan.
