"The most important thing are the ideas. Not a matter of young and old. It is not a matter about the ideas being old or young. But if the idea becomes out-dated, what will happen?" asked Jokowi, after opening the "Young on Top National Conference 2018" in Jakarta on Saturday.
But Jokowi did not explain, in detail, whether the chairman of the success team represents the youth or the older generation.
In previous reports, Jokowi stated that his party was still looking for the right figure to become his Success Team chairman, while advancing in the 2019 Presidential Election.
"Yes, the leader will be appointed later. Yes, just relax, we don`t need to be in a hurry," said Jokowi, after performing the Iduladha Prayer in the Tegar Beriman Cibinong Field, Bogor Regency, West Java, Wednesday.
The list for the Success Team, said Jokowi, was submitted to the General Election Committee (KPU). However, the name of the Success Team leader has not yet been released.
Based on the data being circulated, the head of the campaign team of the Jokowi / Ma`ruf pair was not yet named, while the deputy chairman was Moeldoko, Lodewijk F. Paulus, H. Abdul Kadir Karding, Johnny G. Plate, H. Arsul Sani, H. Herry Lontung Siregar, Hajriyanto Y. Thohari, and Eriko Sotarduga.
The position of secretary of the campaign team was occupied by Hasto Kristiyanto, while the Deputy Secretary was Verry Surya Hendrawan, Ahmad Rofiq, King Juli Antoni, and Dewi Suharto.
The campaign team treasurers were Sakti Wahyu Trenggono and Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, while the Deputy Treasurer I (Political Affairs) were Juliari P. Batubara and Amir Uskara, Deputy Treasurer II (Figures and Organizations) were Jazilul Fawaid and Samsuddin Andri Aryad, Deputy Treasurer III (Volunteer) Rerie Lestari Moerdijat and Dudy Purwagandhi. *** 2 *** (E002/INE)
