Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Saly Ou Moeut of Cambodia took home a gold medal from the ski modified class of jetski at the Asian Games 2018 in Ancol, North Jakarta, on Saturday.

In the ski modified final moto 4, Saly finished first, with his teammate Min Mustan trailing behind in the second place, and Pupakdee Nuttakorin of Thailand in the third position.

The medal is based on points collected from motos 1, 2, 3, and 4, with 60 points for the first place, 53 points for the second place, and 44 points for the third place.

From the four motos, Saly scored 233 points and gained a gold medal. The silver medal went to Teeraprateep Kasidit of Thailand, with 180 points; and the bronze medal went to Pupakdee Nuttakorn also from Thailand, with 173 points.

Host athletes Aqsa Sutan Aswar and Muhammad Farizi secured the last two spots in the ski modified class, which brought together nine participants.

Both Agas and Farizi only took part in moto 1. They were absent in motos 2, 3, and 4 because their jet skis had engine trouble.

Farizi stated it took at least seven days to repair the two jet ski engines.
