Jakarta (ANTARA News) - KPU commissioner Viryan Azis said that his institution still found the names of as many as 795 thousand multiple voter names in the Permanent Voter Lists (DPT) of 185 million people, which had been determined by the KPU last week.

"As many as 795 thousand voter names experienced the delinquency out of the 185 million DPT. We are confident that it will decrease, because it will continue to be cleaned from tonight until Sunday morning," Viryan said at the KPU RI Office, Jakarta, on Saturday.

Viryan explained that after the KPU determined DPT last week, the institution and representatives of political parties and the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) at the central level had held three meetings to outline the double data.

According to him, in the last meeting on Friday (Sept 14) night, the political parties that most voiced the double DPT stated that there were still 1.2 million double data, but it was different from the KPU data, which was 795 thousand.

"Last night, we got information from friends of political parties who voiced the double data, appreciating at 1.2 million. But our internal data is under 1 million, and, of course, it is being cleaned up," he remarked.

He explained that almost all provincial KPUs had completed the provincial level of DPT recapitulation meetings and some were finalizing them.

According to him, several KPU have not completed the recapitulation because there are still data processes on the findings of political parties and Bawaslu recommendations that must be resolved.

"We want double data to be completed in the region. Some of the provincial KPU have been presented to the RI KPU for coordination related to joint settlement and scrutiny for 10 days," he explained.

According to him, the determination of the DPT has been running in the regency / city KPU until Friday night. because the completion of the double list must be completed in the area.

He added that the KPU would continue the settlement related to the double voters on Saturday (Sept 15) night until Sunday (Sept 16) morning, because tomorrow there would be an Open Plenary Meeting of the DPT. (E002/INE).
