Bengkulu (ANTARA News) - The winning team of presidential candidate pairs Joko Widodo (Jokowi) - Ma`ruf Amin has targeted to be able to win at least 60 percent of the votes from Bengkulu Province in the 2019 Presidential Election.

The General Treasurer of the Bengkulu Province Regional Election Team, Elva Hartati, stated in Bengkulu on Saturday that the target was considered very realistic, considering that Jokowi - Jusuf Kalla pair was able to win in Bengkulu in the 2014 presidential election.

At that time, the pair, which was supported by PDIP and several other coalition political parties, had a slight advantage over the achievement of Prabowo - Hatta and Jokowi ? JK, who won by 54.73 percent.

"To ensure victory, we are targeting a minimum of 60 percent, and we have prepared the infrastructure for that," Hartati, who is also the Chairperson of the PDIP of the Bengkulu Province, noted.

PDIP, along with political parties that support the coalition, and supporters of Jokowi - Amin have formed the winning team`s infrastructure, and in mid-August 2018, the nine political parties of the bearer had formed a winning team for the provincial level.

It was continued by the formation of regency and city-level winning teams. The first agenda of the winning team was to ensure that the presidential candidates they nominated were promoted to all lines of society.

To ensure the effectiveness of the promotion, Hartati`s winning team continued to be supported by cadres of political parties who did not participate in the 2019 Legislative Election.

Although not a candidate for legislators, political party cadres who are members of the team are influential figures in the community, he noted.

"Therefore, the performance of the winning team will truly be complete in the legislative elections," he pointed out. *** 2 *** (E002/INE)
