Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, the Indonesian vice presidential candidate number 02, believes the campaign of the current era is not centered on elbowing, scorn, and fault-picking but instead on offering economic solutions.

"We stop berating and not elbowing. Our campaign aims to improve the economy. The issue is the economy, the provision of employment, and the affordable price of basic necessities and not others," Uno noted in a written statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.

The One Sub-district Oce Center Entrepreneurship movement (OK OCE) is part of the solution to the problems, he noted.

Uno kicked off activities to fulfill the aspirations of the community today in Cirebon by opening the OK OCE Training of trainers program in the Creative Youth Inscription at the Andalus City Convention Center, Jalan Pramuka Kalijaga Cirebon.

During this activity, the OK OCE movement began with registration, training, mentoring, licensing, marketing, financial reporting, and capital.

Uno has entrusted the trainer to set step seven incidents.

The OK OCE movement is aimed at empowering the economy that has slumped due to the weakening of the rupiah against the dollar.

On the occasion, Uno, accompanied by former governor of West Java Ahmad Heryawan and Netty Heryawan, also invited participants to pray for the Situbondo and Sumenep earthquake victims.

"Let us pray for our brothers and sisters, who are suffering due to the disaster. Hopefully, this trial would make us strong," the vice president, who was supported by the Gerindra Party, Prosperous Justice Party, National Mandate Party, and Democrats, stated.

On Wednesday, the Indonesian candidate pair Prabowo Subianto and Indramayu paid a visit to witness first-hand the potential of this coastal area of West Java, where each region is facing different problems including those related to empowerment.
