"A preliminary result of the forensic laboratory shows they are nine-millimeter caliber bullets, the same as the other bullets found yesterday. However, to confirm this, we need to conduct scientific investigation and ballistic testing," Hutajulu remarked at the Parliament building complex here on Wednesday.
Hutajulu noted that the police had received a report on the finding of a trace of bullets in the office of a legislator from the Democrat Party Faction Vivi Sumantri Jayabaya located in room 1008 at the 10th floor of the Nusantara I building.
At the same time, the police had received a report of a similar trace in the office of a legislator Totok Daryanto from the PAN faction in room 2003 at the 20th floor of the Nusantara I building.
The bullet trace in Vivi's office was actually spotted on late Tuesday, but they only reported it to the internal security officers on Wednesday.
The police has conducted investigation at the crime scene and found one bullet projectile in Vivi's office.
Earlier, on Monday, two nine-millimeter caliber bullets hit the office of legislators Wenny Warouw and Bambang Heri.
The police said the shots were allegedly stray bullets from the Senayan Shooting Range. The stray bullets pierced through the glass window of the offices of Wenny Warouw and Bambang Heri on the 16th and 13th floors of the Nusantara I building, respectively.
