Prabowo is a former husband of the daughter of Soeharto`s 2nd President, Siti Hediati Hariyadi. He was also the grandson of Raden Mas Margono Djojohadikusumo, a member of BPUPKI, founder of Bank Negara Indonesia and Chair of the first DPA.
Prabowo Subianto was named after Soebianto Djojohadikoesoemo, his uncle who died in the Battle of Lengkong.
Prabowo has two older sisters, Biantiningsih Miderawati and Maryani Ekowati, and one younger brother, Hashim Djojohadikusumo.
