London (ANTARA News) - Various tourism objects from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province are in much demand by visitors to the WTM London tourism exhibition that took place in the Excel London building.

Komodo island national park, tradition of Waerebo village, Bena, 17 islands in Riung, Kelimutu with three-color lake, Samana Sancta, Sumba as the most beautiful island in the world according to version Focus magazine from Germany, with pasola branding, a parade of 1001 ornate horses, are exposed to the public in London.

Many tourist attractions from NTT are already known in the world such as Nemberala Rote surf spot which is visited by many international tourists, Alor diving, traditional whaling in Lembata, batutara volcano which erupts every 20 minutes, said Head of Nusa Tenggara Tourism Office, Marius Ardu Jelamu to Antara London on Wednesday evening.

He said that even though East Nusa Tenggara is well known in the world, the province needs to be promoted internationally, especially at London`s second largest WTM tourism exhibition in the world that runs from November 5 to 7.

According to Marius Jelamu, a variety of exotic locations can be found in Kupang as the capital of NTT Province even though a number of tourism objects have not been managed well and have not been touched so much. In Kupang there are crystal caves, Dutch and Japanese historical relics, Oenesu waterfalls, and various woven fabrics with diverse motifs.
