The district head of Pakpak Bharat, North Sumatra Province, Remigo Yolanda Berutu, five other civil servants and businessman were arrested in an anti graft operation by the agency early dawn between midnight and 3.00 local time on Sunday.

"Altogether there were six men arrested including civil servants and business people - two were arrested in Jakarta and four in Medan," KPK Chief Agus Rahardjo said here on Sunday.

The four arrested in Medan included the district head who was later flown to Jakarta for questioning.
