Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA News) - The Bali Provincial Police have handed over three foreign fugitives, placed on the wanted list over cases of swindling, to their respective countries on the request of their police.

Immigration officers arrested the three fugitives from Russia, South Korea, and Czech Republic at different locations as they were about to enter Bali, spokesman for the Bali Provincial Police Adjunct Senior Commissioner Sugeng Sudarso stated here on Wednesday.

The Russian fugitive had swindled 4 million rubles, the South Korean fugitive had appropriated US$2.5 million, while the Czech fugitive was involved in a fraud of tens of thousands of US dollars.

The Czech fugitive, identified by his initials as RLS, was flown to his country on Wednesday.

Immigration officers arrested RLS at his residence on Tukad Balian Street in Renon, Denpasar. The Czech police issued a red notice to him on March 3, 2015, and found him staying in Bali, he revealed.

The Denpasar Provincial Police received a red notice from the Indonesian Police Headquarters in Jakarta on October 8, 2018, in connection with the Russian fugitive identified by his initials as AN, he stated.

Meanwhile, the South Korean national, identified by his initials as HD, had become a fugitive since November 15, 2017. He will be flown to his country on Friday (Dec 14).
