"We have repeatedly conveyed that we are ethical," Jokowi said after a lunch at Ma`ruf`s residence in Jalan Situbondo, Menteng, Jakarta, on Friday.
According to the former Governor of DKI Jakarta, the community is expected not to manipulate images that annoy other people.
He explained the need for manners while utilizing social media.
That is to prevent the spread of slander, hoaxes, and image engineering that have a negative impact.
"Stop it, stop it," Jokowi said.
Meanwhile, Ma`ruf explained that he had handed over the alleged case of distribution of video engineering of Christmas celebrations to the police.
"We will hand it over to the authorities or the police," said Ma`ruf, who once served as the General Chair of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI).
Jokowi had accepted Ma`ruf`s invitation to have lunch at his residence.
On this occasion, both of them discussed the latest political conditions, one of which was the electability survey.
