Jakarta, (ANTARA News) - State airport operator PT Angkasa Pura II served up to 115 million passengers last year, up 9.5 percent from 105 million a year earlier.

"In line with the vision of the company to become the Best Smart Connected Airport Operator in Region, Angkasa Pura II is committed to continue to provide better services to the public through both hard infrastructure and soft infrastructure through digital platform to give impressive airport digital journey experiences to passengers," PT Angkasa Pura II President Director, Muhammad Awaluddin, said in a written statement released on Monday.

The company provided its best services through airports that it operated last year. It participated in organizing trans-boundary events by, among other things, being an official supplier in the Asian Games 2018 and the Asian Para Games 2018.

Being an official supplier of the two international events, the company provided airports and officers to help athletes and officials, he noted.

The achievement made throughout last year was in line with the company`s transformation policy to realize Angkasa Pura II Giant Dream 2020 under the theme RKAP 2018 Airports Grow Faster 2018 through three main programs, namely Accelerated Revenue Growth, On Becoming 1 Million Aircraft Movements, and Implementation of Digital Journey Experience at all PT Angkasa Pura II airports.

To serve service users, PT Angkasa Pura II has developed mobile digital, namely Indonesia Airport App, to help passengers find information easily, he pointed out.
