Depok, W Java (ANTARA News) - The University of Indonesia (UI) has carried out a strategy of curriculum development in study programs in an attempt to face various challenges in the era of global competition, Rector of the University of Indonesia (UI) Prof. Muhammad Anis remarked.

"The university continues to update the curriculum in various study programs to accommodate technological developments," Anis said here on Saturday.

The rector also developed research-based learning methods to improve innovative and original works.

In addition, the university intensified technology-based learning methods through Online Education Resources (EOR).

UI has also increased productivity and quality of research; organized various international conferences that can help disseminate research and innovation of UI researchers; developed facilities, research facilities, and infrastructure, as well as program of innovation; and fostered start-up businesses.

The UI continues to develop higher education in Indonesia.

UI continues its academic heritage in the form of innovation, research, community service, and international standard of education.

Based on Times Higher Education (THE), the magazine behind the world?s most influential university rankings, the university is included in the top-100 in a ranking.

UI climbed from 184th position in last year`s chart to the 82nd rank.

A total of 3,950 graduates of UI attended the graduation ceremony.
