We are just waiting for the corpse and have not thought about other aspects of this incident
Cirebon (ANTARA) - The family of Wartono, an Indonesian who fell victim to a bridge collapse incident in Nanfangao, Taiwan, currently awaits the return of his corpse to their hometown in Pegagan Kidul Village, Cirebon District, West Java.

The incident took place on Tuesday, October 1, resulting in three Indonesian citizens falling victims, including Wartono, who was making the necessary preparations for fishing on his ship.

"We are just waiting for the arrival of the corpse and have not thought about other aspects pertaining to this incident," Taman, the victim's brother, had noted in Cirebon on Monday.

According to the information he had received, his brother's body was scheduled to be flown in on October 10. Taman has kept in contact with his other brothers in Taiwan.

Taman pointed out that the company that sent Wartono to do the work in Taiwan had yet to communicate any further information regarding his rights and merely handed over documents to the family.

"No such representative from the company has come here and spoken about my brother's rights," Taman stated while adding that the family was currently in a state of mourning.
