"It was yesterday evening when I recognized the stinky smell of carrion and was checking to find out where it originated from until I found the flowers, with many green flies around," Imanudin stated at his house, Tuesday.
However, Imanudin assumed that the flowers of family Araceae had been growing there since long before he finally spotted them.
Its height is some 50 centimeters, with 25 centimeters of corolla, while the diameter extends to 60 centimeters.
"I took a look for one more time in this morning. The flies were not there anymore, and three other shoots had emerged that I hope would grow as well," Imanudin stated.
He pointed to it being the first instance of the "stinky" flower growing in the area of Banyumas, especially in South Purwokerto Sub-district.
