Jakarta (ANTARA) - At least 55 people with disabilities have been registered to participate in a recruitment test for civil servants in the Jakarta provincial government office in South Jakarta, an official stated here, today. Of the total 55 special participants, 23 are people with vision impairments and 32 others are people with other disabilities, South Jakarta City's head of civil service office, Heri Dianto said in Jakarta.

The recruitment test for those with disabilities will be organized on February 22 and 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Dianto noted.

As with regular participants, people with disabilities must pass the computer assisted-based basic ability test. However, they will be assisted by at least four civil service officials during the test.

"Our staff will escort them when they enter the room and guide them to their chairs," Dianto noted and added that for people with hearing impairments, his office will provide hearing aids.
