Therefore, (people must) observe physical distancing seriously," Yurianto said in a press conference, held at the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) building in Jakarta.
With 21 more patient succumbing to the deadly virus, the death toll from the novel coronavirus disease has reached 157 from 136 on Tuesday (March 31).
The Task Force for Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling has confirmed cases in 32 provinces — with Aceh recording 5 cases, Bali 25, Banten 152, Bangka Belitung 2, Bengkulu 1, Yogyakarta, Jakarta 808, Jambi 2, West Java 220, Central Java 104, East Java 104, West Kalimantan 10, East Kalimantan 21, Central Kalimantan 9, South Kalimantan 8, and North Kalimantan 2.
Confirmed cases have also been reported from Riau Islands (7), West Nusa Tenggara (6), South Sumatra (5), West Sumatra (8), North Sulawesi (3), North Sumatra (22), Southeast Sulawesi (3), South Sulawesi (66), Central Sulawesi (2), Lampung (8), Riau (3), North Maluku (1), Maluku (1), West Papua (2), Papua (10), and West Sulawesi (1).
